Externally generally sound with shelf wear and bumping to the head and tail of the spine and extremities, rubbing to the boards and spine and general minor marking and light soiling. Minor chipping to the joints. Library stamp to the front pastedown. With a note inscribed tipped in to the front free endpaper, describing the loosely inserted sheet containing a watercolour by Mackintosh. Internally, firmly bound. With a light foxing and minor spotting to the first and last few leaves, otherwise the pages are generally bright and clean throughout. Illustrated with thirty-four full page coloured plates, and numerous plates throughout in black and white. Collated, complete, with one plate in the British fans article in real silk. Good.
