Mit vierzeiligem, eigenhändigem Gedicht und Unterschrift des Autors "Am Kunstwerk(?) und an zarten Frauen will ich zwei Dinge, die sich paarten, schauen: Ich will nicht schöne Gestalt nur haben, will tief mich auch an dem Gehalt erlaben. Cannstatt, im Januar 1903." Ziel (1841-1921) war Dr. phil., Schriftsteller und ab 1872 Mitredakteur der Zeitschrift "Gartenlaube". Nach dem Tod des Begründers und Chefredakteurs Ernst Keil 1878 übernahm Ziel bis 1883 die Leitung des Blattes. Danach lebte er als freier Schriftsteller in (Stuttgart-)Bad Cannstatt. Sprache: de.
