Moman Pruiett Criminal Lawyer by Moman Pruiett. Hardcover published in 1944 and printed by Harlow Publishing Company Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. No edition listed, presumed first. Book has been signed on the front endpaper by fellow Oklahoma attorney C,W. Van Eaton who wrote the forward. Signature only. Several nickel sized discolored spots on front board. Cloth starting to fray at both ends of the spine. Previous owners name stamped on front and back endpapers. Some foxing to page ends. Binding is solid. Author was a long time attorney in early Oklahoma who boasts that of 343 cases that he tried for murder 303 of his clients were acquitted, none were ever executed, and only one received a death sentence which was later commuted by the President of the United States.
