Undated, for 1837. 72 pages, paperback dust cover binding not a dust jacket as not detached, fair/good, some ageing, edge wear, & corner tip folding. Contents mostly good and clean, corner tip folding, a few inscriptions, including inside endpage owner inscribed Mr. Kierman ?or Kiernan ? Lawshall Hall, Suffolk. Contains a couple of woodcuts in text, An interesting almanac for the period, with table of times significant dates, names of learned Judges, list of English Kings & queens, sovereigns of Europe, Planetary Phenomena, list of remarkable dates, eclipses of the sun & moon, etc. , and usual interesting woodcut of 3 bears? Trying to pull a very large bear? Holding a crown, seated upon a world?, with Soldiers & mountain in the background with usual weird things in the sky. This is for just one from a collection of almanacs from 1814-1845, owners name (unable to decipher) Mr John Kierman ?or Kiernan ? Lawshall Hall, Suffolk of Lawshall, a small village between Bury St. Edmunds & Ballingdon on the outskirts of Sudbury Essex.
