The purple cloth boards are clean and bright and show only minimal ear at the spine ends and tips. The gilt lettering on the spine is also bright. This edition has the "Published October, 1932" statement, a copyright date of the same year, the same year on the title page, and is without any evidence of other publications. This approximately 5 3/8 by 7 3/4 inch volume has 197 pages. The dust jacket is orange with purple lettering and decorations. There is a tear to the rear panel of the jacket on three sides of a 1 by 1/2 inch rectangle. The corners of the front flap are clipped but the original price, $2.00, is still visible.
