Moderate sunning to all edges of both boards Previous owner's name with date on front endpaper. Interior pages are clean. Dust jacket is in Fair condition. Head end of spine is completely removed. Heavy sunning to remaining spine and front panel edges. Moderate scuffing to both panels. Julia and her husband, Roddy Davenant, along with their young son, Oliver, and Roddy's cousin, Eleanor, are temporarily living at Mrs. Lippincote's, a house filled with old mahogany furniture and other reminders of earlier wealth.
