Nice copy in its fourth printing. Unmarked but for bookplate of Vincent Starrett, author of "The Privae Life of Sherlock Holmes" published in 1933. Bookplate was lightly glued in but has fallen loose and now laid in. No other markings. One of her best book and scarce in the first four printings. This one has the same basic design as the first but boards black and lettering and stamping are orange on the spine and top boards. Color is not faded. Light concavity to top board. Pages still supple and not toned. Tips pretty sharp. Jacket is professionally made and without flaw. It was made with transparent mylar protecting it from damage but could be removed. Insurance is available upon request. Books with jackets are all wrapped in mylar to protect the jacket and carefully packaged. I use bubble wrap, packing peanuts and newspaper filler to supplement. They are then boxed.
