First UK Edition. Publisher's maroon boards with gilt spine lettering. with a black hand motif to the spine. Minor foxing to the top edge otherwise a VG+ copy in like dustwrapper priced 18s net to the inside flap (as called for). The dustwrapper is complete with no wear, tears or pieces missing but the white portions of the spine are a slightly darker shade. A former owner (likely a shop in the 1960's) has used a black crayon to cross out the publisher's price to the inside flap (although the price is still clearly visible).
