hardback, quarto, measuring 11" x 8 3/4", diced calf binding, gilt borders, blocked with a design in gilt to the spine, marbled endpapers and edges, Both boards present but detached, rubbed and scuffed to the extremities and spine. The text block remains tightly stitched, clean and unmarked. Label removed from the front pastedown, leaving behind an unsightly abrasion. The fold-out map has a small marginal water stain to the top left corner.
