Condition: FINE/VG Many historical records indicate the final days of the US-Indian Wars ended with the surrender of Geronimo in 1886. This wasn t entirely true. South of the border, the fierce Bronco Apaches refused to yield and were to continue the fight for another 50 years (!) raiding homesteads on both sides of the border and eluding capture by escaping into the labyrinthine canyons of the Sierra Madres. Condition Description: The book is in beautiful fine condition. Perhaps the slightest of spine lean and a spot of soiling on top edge of the text block if being very picky else VERY FINE. No writing or wear internally - as new. The dust jacket is in VERY GOOD condition - unclipped, complete, colorful and little to no fading. Light edge wear creasing and small tears in spots with dust soiling on the unlaminated surface and several larger stains.
