Volume devoted to studies of the badger, written by Ernest Neal. With one coloured photograph taken by the author, twenty-nine black and white photographic plates, and twelve maps and diagrams. Collated, complete. With unclipped dust wrapper.The Redstart, 1950. Study of the redstart by John Buxton, with one colour photograph by Eric Hosking, nineteen black and white photographic plates, and twenty maps and diagrams. Collated, complete. With price-clipped dust wrapper.The Yellow Wagtail,1950. Written by Stuart Smith, with twenty-six paintings by Edward Bradbury, eleven black and white photographic plates from original photographs by the author, four line drawings and four maps. Collated, complete. With unclipped dust wrapper. In the original publisher's full cloth binding. Externally smart with minor shelf wear, bumping to head and tail of spine and extremities of boards. Damp mark to rear board 'The Badger.' Dust wrappers sound with shelf wear, minor loss to front wrap 'The Redstarted,' two unclipped and one price clipped, with sunning to spine, minor chipping to head and tail of spine, general light rubbing and soiling. Internally, firmly bound. Minor light spotting to fore edge affecting endpapers, otherwise pages generally bright and clean.
