Hardcover. Zustand: Fair. No Jacket. Undated Daily Express Annual. The lower quarter of the spine is missing and there remnants of cellotape here. The head of the spine has a split at the joint. Boards are a little dirty, with moderate stain spots. No name inscriptions. Despite a section of the spine missing the text block is holding together well with no sign of leaves loosening and no cracks to the hinges. Only the lightest staining on the pages. In good plus pictorial boards, with colour image of Rupert with snowball and skating animals to frozen river behind to front. The covers are firm and fairly clean, not quite straight, spine area a little sunned, with slightly chipped ends. The end papers are clean and feature colour images of tree house and Father Christmas with sleigh in the sky. Tanned and lightly foxed cut edges. The text block is tightly bound and clean, very good for age.The illustrations in the strips are bright and the text is clear. The 'This Book Belongs To' has been filled in; text not annotated.
