He built one of Britain's first petrol-powered motor vehicles. This work, written soon after his first petroleum carriage. There are also discussionss on motor bicycles and tricycles such as Singer, Minerva etc. In the publisher's original quarter cloth binding, with paper covered boards. Externally, in a very bright condition. Bumping to the extremities. Light rubbing to the head and tail of spine. Light handling marks to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright.
