15 vol. in-12, avec 17 planches gravées hors texte, demi-basane fauve marbrée, dos lisses ornés de pointillés, filets et lyres dorés, pièces de titre et de tomaison, tranches mouchetées de rouge, coins en toile (reliure de l'époque). Des coiffes rognées, coins abîmés, un mors supérieur fendu, des pages roussies ou salies. Le dos du tome 15 est plus clair et le fer différent (accroc). Il s'agit de la remise en vente, avec de nouveaux titres, de l'édition originale de 1788-1790, par le libraire Mérigot qui avait racheté à Restif les exemplaires restants. Elle ne doit pas comporter de seizième volume, ce dernier n'ayant été publié qu'en 1794, et n'ayant pas été compris dans la cession.
