Small octavo measuring approx. 7.4 x 4.5 inches, bound in full calf of the period, small [later?] paper spine label, page edges sprinkled red; binding square and tight, pages clean and unmarked save for early owner name at base of title page "Ri: Sneyde" for Richard or Ricardo Sneyd [from an online Sneyd family tree], and a note on the blank leaf facing the title page. The front pastedown bears the 18th century British armorial bookplate of "John Sneyd, Bishton [Hall], Staffordshire" with accompanying information provided onlline by the current resident of Bishton Hall.
