320pp, (5.5 x 8.5 inches), b&w photos and drawings, index. Very Good condition, hardcover, no dust jacket. Green cloth, spine ends soft, spine cocked (slanted). but corners sharp, contents clean and firmly bound, no markings. The real problem is that the owner made a brown paper cover to protect the book, and glued the flaps inside the front and rear covers. Story of the author's life and career, then "The Birth and Death of a Nation." The Troubles of Ireland's politicl history - the I.R.A., R.I.C., et al. On the title page, Sullivan refers to himself as "Last of the King's Serjeants and One of his Majesty's Counsel.
