The book has clean covers (but spine sticker residue lower spine), clean original EPs, erased mark from title page, no other marks or writing on any pages, no foxing, solid tight binding. LACKING the dust jacket. The book measures 235mm tall x 145mm, and has 514 pages, 64 b/w photos, map, index. Author made the first serious attempt to climb Mt McKinley in 1903 -- up Peters Glacier reaching about 8000ft. Party was stopped by an enormous face, now called the Wickersham Wall.
