These included almonds, apples, chestnuts, cucumbers, melons, ulberrys, pomegranates, quinces, and more.Written by Charles M'Intosh, or McIntosh, who was the head gardener to the Duke of Buccleuch at Dalkeith.Collated, bound without plates facing pages 85 and 325. In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, generally smart, with light marks to the boards and spine, a little heavier to the rear board. Minor rubbing to the joints and extremities. Spine is a little faded. Rear hinge is starting but firm. Lacking the rear endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very lightly age-toned and clean with the occasional scattered spot.
