Profusely illus. with 'Plan, Portraits, and Other Illustrations', the initial two being 'Scene on the Bradford Canal' and ' Bierley Hall'. First Edition rebound sympathetically in black textured cloth, gilt titles to spine, with original front onlaid, as shown. Very securely bound, minimal foxing - a few spots here and there, and predominantly clean, but with a few grubby pages. Text block edges a little browned/stained, particularly the top edge, which has a small ink stain. The whole commensurate with age.
