FIRST US EDITION DATED 1968 ON TITLE PAGE (stated 1st on reverse), INSCRIBED BY CRESSWELL. 8vo, buff cloth backed pink boards, red motif to upper cover, lettered red on spine, 142 pages. Illustrated by W.T. Mars. Tiniest bump to top corners of boards, no owner inscriptions. Near Fine in very good DUSTWRAPPER (dw: not price clipped ($3.95), 1 small closed edge tear, head and tail of spine slightly worn with tiny nicks, corners just slightly rubbed, lower panel lightly browned). Cresswell has written on the endpaper: "For Margery Fisher with my very best wishes - Helen Cresswell March 1968".
