1st thus 1936. Very good condition in an almost very good dustwrapper. New introduction by G. Winthrop Young. This is a re-issue of a number of alpine classics originally published in the late 1800s. Grey cloth boards, burgundy title to spine and small vignette to front. Sepia photos. Text block browned and foxed. Foxing to endpapers, prelims and a few pages here and there. Otherwise, a nice copy. Price-cut yellow dustwrapper is edge-worn, grubby, browned to spine, chipped to top of spine. Packaged with care and promptly dispatched!.
