Color pictorial glazed paper covered boards with a minute touch of wear to the tail of spine and slight darkening to the edges for what is a very lovely copy of the book. [34] pp. including endpapers. There is a Waldorf-Astoria bookplate on the back side of the back free endpaper indicating that this book was presented to a lucky young lady on the occasion of her eighth birthday by the New York landmark. With the help of various animal friends, Mickey and Minnie Mouse save a newly hatched duckling from a hungry hawk. The story is illustrated throughout with black and white drawings, both full page and within text. Additionally, there are three beautiful full color double page pop-up illustrations of which the illustrations and the paper engineering have been attributed to C. Carey Cloud.
