Green cloth boards with gilt lettering to spine. Boards are generally in good order, just a little grubby. Some bumping to corners. The volume has been rebacked with the original spine cloth relaid. Light soiling to end papers and title page, otherwise a very good copy. Mild fox. 424 pp + index. 4 plates, 1 in colour. Thompson was the leading urologist of the Victorian era.
