Beschreibung
Cloth-backed dark patterned boards. 8vo. Printed dust jacket with $2.00 price on flap. First American edition. Translated by Louis Rittenberg. This copy is inscribed by Hungarian-born theatre critic and Hollywood writer, George Halasz who translated several of Molnar's works. Film versions of this popular novel about Budapest street gangs were made in Hungary, the U.S. and Italy. A very good copy with some light wear to the spine tips and some light edgewear to the covers. The endsheets are a bit browned else the text is very good with light soiling. The jacket is good with some soiling and light edgewear and some chipping to the spine tips. The front panel has some light white spotting near the toop. Bestandsnummer des Verkäufers 1350
