True first edition with the date 1901 on both the title and copyright page and 327 pages not 329 with the scarce original jacket. Some loss to corners and spine ends, otherwise a very nice jacket with the original price of $1.25 on the front panel. The spine of the jacket is darkened,but the front and rear panels retain some of the original green color. The book itself could pass for twenty years old instead of 120.
