4pp prospectus for forthcoming publication from Gwasg Gregynog about the work of Thomas Pennant. The finished book will contain 20 colour woodcuts by Rigby Graham. This prospectus, printed by lithography at J.W. Northend Ltd, Sheffield contains one of these illustrations (Gulla Basana and Hot Air Balloons over Parys Mountain Mine), together with a sample page. Untrimmed lower page edge. In fine condition, as is the colour illustration on p3. Laid in is an unused Order Form. All now protected in an archival envelope. My particular interests are illustrated Private Press and modern Poetry. I also have a collection of Prospectuses and similar ephemera. I am careful to select only the better quality items for the Bookshop that are within my speciality and pass on those that are outside my remit. I am a former librarian and read for pleasure - as many booksellers do! I take great care of my books while they are staying at Beech Cottage and would only ask my customers that they do likewise.
