A book for performances by Nikolaus Urban from 1975. Each performance includes a text intoduction by Urban on his performances followed by black and white photographs documenting the events. The performances include; 'Concert for Stringed Violins with the Participation of a Musician', 'Invalid Chair', 'Blind & Deaf Event', 'Camera Event' and 'Milk Event', the latter of which took place in Maastricht in May 1975. For 'Milk Event' Urban's text describes how he 'poured a pail of milk on the floor. I walked through it, then I lay on the ground and lapped it up. The procedure took about 45 minutes', Urban goes onto the describe his audience's behaviour; the abject feeling of the performance ('the milk disolved the dirt from the floor. I felt hairs, bits of grit.I could not avoid drinking most of the rubbish'); how at the end of the performance he ran 'out of the room in a bad inner condition' and finally how he talked with audience members afterwards, a few of whom were 'disgusted with what had happened'.
