Discolouration to back strips and rubbing to boards, with bumping to back strip tails. Front hinge of volume I starting, with board holding firm but one page detached. Inscriptions to half titles. Internally, bindings strained to each volume to centre of text block, with three gatherings loosening to tail in volume II. Pages generally clean and bright, with light spotting to plates. Good.
