This album was a gift to an associate of the Hungarian State Puppet Theatre on the occasion of the 60th birthday of the leader of the Hungarian Communist Party, General Secretary Mátyás Rákosi. Rákosi sixtieth birthday (March 9, 1952) was a grandiose celebration in the Communist Hungary, with socialist emulations, demonstration and numerous socialist cultural events to commemorate the great day of "Stalin's best pupil", as how he humbly referred to himself. In plants, socialist corporations, factories and in any institutions throughout the country but also many places in the entire Socialist block, the highly important event was celebrated. This album is one of it's manifestation, an "Award for the job well done, on the occasion of the 60th birthday of Comrade Mátyás Rákosi" from the State Puppet Theatre. . 10 album card leaves with 9 original, vintage, black and white photographs.
