In the publisher's original cloth backed paper covered boards. Bumping to back strip head and tail, with head and tail of rear joint starting, but board firmly held. Handling marks and discolouration to rear board perimeters. Front hinge strained, but firmly held. Former owner's stamp to front free endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Former owner's inscriptions to head of first two leaves. Pages bright, with spotting and instances of foxing throughout. Child's pencil marks to tail of first two leaves.
