First Edition 1935, very clean black cloth with gilt cross and sword to front board and titles to spine. Book is Very Good Plus to near fine, spine title shows some rubbing and top stain faded else near Fine, tight and square with previous owner address label on half title page else no other marks or writing, very clean and tight copy, shows nicely in custom mylar sleeve, no jacket, 230 pages with vintage black and white photographs, illustrations and maps, end papers are early French edition of Kino's map of Pimieria Alta in 1705 showing southwest including Baja California and the Sea of Cortez, early and important work on Father Kino, Jesuit efforts and southwest history, dedicated to the famous Professor and Historian Herbert Eugene Bolton. Black cloth boards with gilt title to spine and cross on front board. Jacket is Very Good Plus or better, front flap has a diagonal cut wih maybe 25% of flap missing, little corner wear but still nice and bright with clean spine. Looks sharp in a new mylar sleeve.
