From the introductory note: "Les Pisseuses was first published in May 1934. It carries in the colophon Perceau's address at the time ., and elsewhere a short list of other works to which the author lays claim. Perceau had Les Pisseuses printed by Maurice Duflou for whom he had written a number of erudite Introductions for clandestine reprints of 18th and 19th century erotica. The bulk of the edition was sold to the patrons of the Lapin Agile, a restaurant or bar at Montmartre, where Perceau was well known and had given readings from the verses." Copy "I".
