Green cloth with gold lettering on spine and gold stamping (title + vignette) on front panel. Unclipped jacket tanned with scuffed edges; half-inch tear at top of jacket spine. Binding clean, slightly bumped, gold lettering darkened. Personal inscription from spouse to previous owner on front free endpaper. Glue browning to endpapers, textblock otherwise clean and unmarked apart from inscription. Deckle-cut fore-edge with some pages unopened.
