His poetry was inspired by the many technological changes happening in Britain and the world, his first poems being induced by the coming of the railway.This collection was published after his death in 1908.Includes two monochrome plates to the frontispiece and facing page five with tissue guards. In cloth binding. Externally, very smart. Minor bumping to the extremities and to the head and tail of the spine. The spine is slightly worn. Internally, firmly bound.
