20 quarto and folio sample sheets of printing and display settings carried out by Will and Sebastian Carter at the Rampant Lions Press, Cambridge, between 1975 and 1982. Limited edition of 500 copies. Green thin card folder with black lettering on spine. Slight sun fade to spine. Otherwise all in fine condition. Laid in is an Advance book order form and an acknowledgment slip (amended by hand). From the personal collection of Edward John Kenney (1924-2019), former Classics Professor, Peterhouse, Cambridge. My particular interests are illustrated Private Press and modern Poetry. I also have a collection of Prospectuses and similar ephemera. I am careful to select only the better quality items for the Bookshop that are within my speciality and pass on those that are outside my remit. I am a former librarian and read for pleasure - as many booksellers do! I take great care of my books while they are staying at Beech Cottage and would only ask my customers that they do likewise.
