First edition hardcover, bound in gray cloth, with gilt lettering on front cover, and faded gilt lettering on spine, is in G condition, having a stain on front cover, and a stain on back; wear to top and bottom spine; light surface and edge wear to covers, and worn corners; front cover slightly bowed; book was carelessly treated at one time: p. 115 has crease in the right edge, which has some tiny tears (at the far extremity of the margin) and this bend and crease prevents the pages of the volume to lie flat when closed; old water stains to top and bottom closed page edges; slight foxing to endpapers.
