Very scarce complete two volume set.This lovely set contains Volume XVIII of Princeton University's 'Quarterly Review of Literature', with this edition published in 1972.The first volume contains 'Numbers 1-2' of the series, and is also called the 'Double Poetry Issue'. This volume contains works such as 'The Joy Tree' by Robert Dana, 'Little Frederick's Song' by Norman Dubie, 'Zue and the Horse' by G. E. Lessing, and 'The Killing of Our King' by Paul Oppenheimer.The second volume contains 'Numbers 3-4' of the series, and is also called the 'Double Prose Issue'. This volume contains works such as 'The Dead Queen' by Robert Coover, 'Journey to Armenia' by Osip Mandelstam, and 'The Palace at 4 A.M.' by Howard Moss.Edited by T. Weiss and Renee Weiss.Collated, complete. In the publisher's original paper wraps. Externally, very smart. Minimal wear and the extremities and the head and tail of spine, with a few marks to wraps and age-toning to the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean throughout.
