In Lucca, per Sebastiano Domenico Cappuri, 1731, in-4, magnifica legatura coeva tardo-barocca in piena pelle, alle armi del cardinale Alessandro Aldobrandini, interamente decorata in oro: piatti inquadrati da una larga cornice formata da due filetti "a merletto" con inscritta una ampia fascia di motivi fitomorfi; nel campo delimitato dalla cornice quattro grandi angolari fitomorfi impressi a piccoli ferri e recanti piccoli volti umani al centro della composizione; grande stemma cardinalizio centrale con le armi Aldobrandini (banda trasversale centrale doppiomerlata, accostata da 6 stelle), dorso a 5 nervi con titolo e ricchissimi fregi impressi a piccoli ferri negli scomparti, labbri decorati e "dentelles" interne, tagli dorati, contropiatti e sguardie foderate da una bellissima carta settecentesca dorata e goffrata, recante ricchi motivi floreali in oro su fondo turchese; pp. [16], 180. Con un ritratto di san Giovanni Gualberto fondatore dell'Ordine dei Vallombrosani inciso in rame f.t. Prima edizione. Due anni dopo, nel 1733, il Soldani decise di pubblicare una seconda parte, ma questa che presentiamo era stata pensata completa e a sé stante (anche in ICCU le due parti sono schedate come due monografie separate).
