This is a Very Good copy of Sienkiewicz's most popular novel - well-known due to several cinematic versions. First published in 1896, this is the Second Printing (often confused with the first issue, due to their uniform bindings and a failure to look at the copyright page), and is designated as the "Popular Edition." Light green cloth binding, decorated with an olive wreath and palm on the front cover with gilt lettering; the palm appears on the spine as well.
