Five, green cloth hardback books, with gilt title impressions on the spines. All five books come with their nice, respective dust jackets, still with original price (FOUR VOLUMES Price £10.10s. net), please see photos, as there is wear, mark and tear to the jackets, however they still look great and work accordingly to protect each book. All five used books are in reasonably good condition, normal wear, marks and tear apply consistent with use and age. There is the odd spotting and foxing marks, mainly to the paper edges, however all pages of each book are intact, and all pages, text and illustrations are in really good, clean, readable order. All four volumes I-IV were published in 1951, first editions, and the Supplement edition was published in 1956. VOLUME I: A-CO, with 512 pages. VOLUME II: CO-JA, with pages 513 to 1088. VOLUME III: JE-PT, with pages 1089 to 1712. VOLUME IV: PT TO ZY, with pages 1713 to 2316. SUPPLEMENT: with 344 pages. All five books are a heavy item to post/ship and therefore postage will increase from listed price and price will depend on final destination. For example a UK price will be around £15.00 to include good strong packaging and VAT, and around £50.00 to the USA to include good strong packaging. These five wonderful books are a lovely collection of information and knowledge, all put together by experts of that period of time, just a lovely set of books that would grace any stylish home library.
