Page one has a decipherable note about the book covering the page, and page 31 has a paragraph marked upon in such a way as still to be readable a short paragraph Pages 180-188 have become quite brown, but on a good note; the pinkish floral blindstamped binding is very clean, the paper label on the backstrip quite legible, the binding solid. Top and bottom of backstrip have minor wear. Faint stamp of previous owner on front end page. Possibly missing frontispiece. Seemingly a scarce edition of this book.
