Bound in eighteenth century polished calf, ribbed spine panel ruled in gilt with red leather title label attached. First edition. Binding worn at crown and tips, hairline cracks at outer joints but hinges still firm. Toning along edges of endpapers. A very good, well preserved copy with clean interior. Rare. "The earliest account of a future war appeared in The Reign of George VI 1900-1925, an anonymous story of 1763.
