First edition. Quarto, 18 x 28 cm. [30], 413, [1] pages, with errata on verso of page 413. Good in contemporary calf, wear at corners, chip at top of spine. Embossed lines at edges of boards. Worming on ffe and top of title-page, light stain at out edge of first twenty leaves. Rear end-papers renewed. Corner torn from last leaf, not affecting text. Some writing on margin of 412 and on errata page. Errata page has Greek scribbling, including "apsanta sophos," "perfectly wise," roughly.
