Binding tight; pages clean; inside cover shows p/o signature dated 1892 and, below, a different owner's bookplate. The book's first half features a series of reports by astronomers and others, about the December 1889 solar eclipse and the July 1888 total lunar eclipse. Three silver prints of the solar eclipse from unretouched negatives plus sketches and diagrams. The book's second half consists of "a catalogue of the library published by the Lick Observatory."
