The sequel, in the form of a novel and play, to Faulkner's Sanctuary (1931). This is the true first edition, first printing (Chocktaw instead of Choctaw on page 21 and jacket designer listed on front flap as M. McKnight Kauffer instead of E. McKnight Kauffer). CONDITION: Boards slightly splayed, sunning to top of boards. Internally a couple of small stains and page edges lightly toned. Very Good in an unclipped dust jacket that has some nicks and tears, stains, foxing to the lower wrapper, as well as rubbing to the front panel where it meets the flap.
