Booklet to accompany a retrospective exhibition (in Sacramento and San Diego, California, U.S.A.) of the works (62 in total) of the paintings of Robert Bechtle, associated with a photorealist style, even if in his own words: ('I would not admit to the label of "realist."). The main feature of this publication is the artwork. The cited authors provide the briefest of commentaries on aspects of the paintings. Card covers (white and shiny): a little scuffing at the edges; with some pale markings/spotting in places. On the back cover, these markings tend to be of a blue hue. (image). Front cover features an understated and elegantly embossed signature of the artist (just visible on main image). Internally, the pages are mildly tanned throughout - although the prints remain largely unaffected by this phenomenon. Unpaginated. 8vo.
