Nice copy of classic thriller in first printing. First Edition stated on copyright page. Unmarked, tight and square. Light green textured cloth is lighly sunned on spine but dark blue letterin go title and author bright and clean. Two or three faint foxing spots on spine. Textblock clean and bright. A few faint foxing spots on endpapers. Basis for film that starred Walter Pidgeon. Jacket is a professionally made facsimile of the first edition. No flaws to jacket and protected in mylar.
