[c.1840-50] 200pp with 26 b/w plates [all present assuming frontispiece is plate 1 but appears unnumbered - some plates double-page] - khaki cloth with gilt RE stamp to both boards - missing spine - boards rubbed and soiled - wear and chipping to edges - boards barely holding at gutters due to lack of spine cloth - yellow pastedowns - previous owner's inscription to front pastedown illegible - lacks title page and preliminaries through to p.32 but has frontispiece illustration - first 32pp of text torn out [see scan] - some light foxing to text pp with light to moderate foxing to plates [see scans] - text block holding although slightly shaky at some gutters - plates are generally clean and tidy despite some foxing and offsetting - a few minor tears to edges of some plates - final page states W.
