Top corner and fore-edge of the front board are significantly bumped with corresponding light creasing to the top corner of most of the textblock; contents are lightly but generally toned; folding frontispiece has some creasing to the front edge; there are seven other engravings as well as the replica of a Confederate note of exchange with printed note and signature. "Some helpful medical data exists in this polemic by Andersonville's chief surgeon" CWB II, 203.
