a book of 1941 United Kingdom postage stamps in three denominations 6 at 2 1/2d, 6 at 2d and 6 at 1/2d), each bearing the head of Adolf Hitler designed to look like a contemporary George VI booklet. So authentic looking were the stamps that five years after they were issued many philatelists believed them to be have been produced during the Second World as either a German propaganda device, or to quote the Stamp Magazine, for a more sinister purpose .
